Last night Drew became very restless and was obviously experiencing more pain than he had been. His eye was really swollen this morning, and he continues to be miserable. We called our doctors at Mayo who said to bring him in. After a quick clinic visit, they sent us to the ER at St Mary's. We are awaiting a CT scan to get to the bottom of what's going on. Right now the consensus seems to be its either an eye infection, a blood clot in his brian, or pressure from further disease spread in his eye. Please pray it is just an eye infection, which can be treated with antibiotics. Pray we can get him comfortable whichever it is and can enjoy some more quality time with him. Ask God to give Drew his healing touch. Pray for patience, peace and energy for us as we try to figure things out. Molly is with a friend today for now, remember her as well.
